HAMAS need to free their land.
missiles are fired to the Israelis because they stole/invade Palestinian's soil...

what would you do if someone (somebody you don't even know) come to your house and then claimed that this is their house...or occupy one of the room without your permission...
will you just watch and do nothing?

come on people, have a slightly longer memory about the history of Palestine...

HAMAS is not a terrorist organisation...but the media(which is bias) tell everyone that they are...this is totally wrong!
they just protecting their land...

Hamas is listed as a terrorist organization by Canada, the European Union, Israel, Japan, and the United States, and is banned in Jordan. Australia and the United Kingdom list only the military wing of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, as a terrorist organization. The United States and the European Union have both implemented restrictive measures against Hamas on an international level.

how reliable is the wikipedia?
how reliable is the media?

this is happen if this powerful media (especially news) was conquer by only one side of the group...
this an example of the product of today's media...easily absorb every piece of information thrown by them...
they use the word "terrorist organisation" to HAMAS...
but they do not realise that Israel is an "terrorist state"..which invade and attack other people's land...
this is the problem that most of our mind could not comprehend this fact...

I don't need wikipedia (which is generally quite reliable) or the media to tell me hamas are terrorists, they are indisputably so. They butcher civilians (including their own people) and their frequent attacks are hardly discreet. Also as I posted above - the entire european union says hamas are terrorists as does canada, japan and various others. About the only places they are welcome are pariah states like Iran and Syria.

Hamas are a curse on the palestinian people and since Israel withdrew from Gaza 3 years ago, they have done nothing but turn it into a rocket launch pad. They fired thousands of rockets at Israeli towns over the last few years (almost every day!) and the result is that finally israel hit back hard - what on earth did they expect Israel to do after so many attacks?! Common sense is clearly not a requirement for hamas leaders. Normal, peace loving civilians on either side will see precious little peace while Hamas rules Gaza.

As for your video - George Galloway is widely known for his extremist, racist & twisted views. He is quite the most despicable character to ever be given airtime and would be right at home with the third reich.

4. Israel has illegaly built a wall around Palestine, denying their rights of freedom, making easy for them to kill Palestinians.

5. Israel army has everyday since 1960's trespassing Palestine, killing unarmed civilians, raping Palestinians women, destroying houses, mosque and schools.

When extremists like hamas and their supporters stop trying to destroy israel then the palestinians will have peace. But they live in cloud cuckoo land.. incapable of seeing the futility of their actions and completely oblivious to the suffering they inflict on their own people.

Didn't you notice the deafening silence from the rest of the world during this war? Even arab countries were remarkably silent.. that should tell you something - hamas are evil and bring nothing but tragedy on the palestinian people and pretty much the whole world knows that. Only those blinded by hatred of israel are incapable of seeing this simple fact.

Just yesterday hamas again bombed an israeli border patrol, killing one israeli and injuring several.. and today they fired rockets into israel again.. and this when there is supposed to be a ceasefire.. what do you expect israel to do about that? Is this the way to make peace? Is this going to get them sympathy from the rest of the world? Is this helping palestinian civilians in any way at all? Clearly it is not and only the criminally insane could ever believe otherwise.

"Israel must be destroyed...!!! Its a MUST!!!!" - big talk there.. are you going to be leaving your safe, comfortable home in malaysia to put your life on the line in this great quest to destroy israel? Or do you expect palestinians to die for your hatred?

if you view this issue only 4 or 5 months before, you would not understand the situation...

1. why israeli border patrol still there in palestine land?? stop occupying palestine land and move out of there...
2. you only consider the one israeli soldier died and several injured, but you not considering the death of thousand palestinian lives and far more than that injured...
from MY OPINION, you only think that israeli lives are more precious than the palestinian...but where is humanity????????

Meanwhile hamas tells israel that it must open all the borders - what sane country opens its borders to an enemy that keeps bombing it? If they want an open border they should tell egypt which is on their southern border but most of all they should simply STOP waging war on israel. But hamas can't even stop waging war on their own people.. they overthrew their own Palestinian Authority and killed, tortured and terrorized anyone that opposed them..

I consider all needless deaths on both sides but war is indeed hell and hamas did everything possible to ensure that war was what they got. Where is the outcry when they kill israelis? Hamas sent their suicide bombers to buses, cafes, restaurants, hotels even a school bus was specifically targeted TWICE! Then when israel closed the borders and they could no longer get their suicide bombers in they fired rockets instead.. over 6000 rockets.. several years of almost daily rocket attacks on israeli towns and finally israel stands up and hits back - it should surprise no one.

Basically yes - Israel is a sovereign state, its right to exist and its international borders recognized by the UN.

If you want to quibble over which bit of land belonged to who long ago then where do you draw the line? How far back do you want to go? Jews lived in ancient israel long before 'palestine' was ever heard of. The Al Aqsa mosque in jerusalem is built right bang on top of the remains of the jewish second temple making it fairly obvious which came first. But also don't just point at israel when asking who owns what.. what about Jordan? Most of modern jordan is in fact built on british mandate palestine (called transjordan).. and before Israel got the west bank, it belonged to jordan, not palestine just as gaza was under egyptian control. Jordan was in fact created just two years before Israel.. Syria also was created 2 years before israel on french mandate territory.. previously the whole region was under ottoman/turkish rule. So are Syria & Jordan more legitimate than Israel because they existed for 2 years longer? Or because they are bigger?

Of course people living in the region may well have lost land or homes - this happens in war and the history of the world is replete with examples of massive population moves. Even malaysia/malaya had its troubles in the past.. I seem to remember something about the 'new villages' where people were forced to move to.

But again, don't just look at one side - what about the hundreds of thousands of jews living in arab countries that were forced out over the last few decades - does nobody care about their loss? Will those arab states ever give those jews their land and homes back? Somehow I doubt it very much..

So really, people on all sides lost out.. the last century was tumultuous for the entire world with two world wars, tens of millions dead, who knows how many refugees, borders redrawn, new countries created.. but its time to move on, live for the future not the past.. make peace not war (I sound like john lennon now).

Unfortunately Hamas does not want peace, they live to die.. or rather their leaders live in comfort in damascus while they expect their followers in gaza to die.. real nice guys.

Watch that video from Davos yesterday.. Peres reads out a section of the Hamas charter which calls for killing all the jews - how should Israel deal with such evil?

Well I can only read english language sources - does that mean they are biased? In general I prefer information from reputable international news outlets and historical data from respected historians.. not nutty holocaust deniers or rabidly anti-israel web sites by anonymous people. For a fairly good online source there is wikipedia and if you want something more official then you can always use.. http://www.britannica.com/

Maybe my sources is not very up to date like yours but I believe my sources are absolutely correct because my sources is from those who already been to Palestine borders for humanitarian aids...
